Leave Me Alone -Contest Poem-

Leave me alone Here I lie In a world filled with hate and lies A society based on the numbers of friends and enemies As a black cat who hides in the shadows I quietly observe I walk on in silence As all around me Punches are thrown Harsh words are sent War bands are created And the loners are trashed on for being outcasts I am one of them, but I can stay invisible I have no friends And nor do I need them The people I see are merely people I know They are my cover In a world of 6 billion people There's not a single person I want to see or talk too I am the final human in this world And it's my thoughts that keep me company
